We've started a nightly ritual with Azure to help her get ready for bed and sleep longer- so far it's seemed to work. She sleeps about 6 hrs straight now. We take a bath, eat, sing hymns and then get rocked to sleep in the glider. Yesterday we went to Babies R Us and noticed that all the babies advertised on the bathtubs they were selling were grinning ear to ear and having a gay ole time. We have found that these moments are few and far between. Sometimes she enjoys her baths, but sometimes not. These pics are before the actual bath was taken.

She'll like them when she she older. and then she'll hate them again. ha ha
First, we have that bath tub!!! And loved it! Second, yea for bedtime routines!! Zachary always knows it's bedtime when he has taken his bath and brushed his teeth. Doesn't make it any easier for him to go to bed, but I think the whole ritual helps. And third, Zachary wasn't a fan of the whole bathing thing the first month or so he had one. I'm not sure what part of the stimulation they hate, but just know Azure's not the only one screaming about her bath at a month and a half. She'll come to like it when she learns what splashing's all about! (Thank you for giving birth only a few days before Zach's birthday, otherwise I would never remember when she was born!)
