So... I really thought Vince would be here by the 27th but, apparently I was wrong. I know, shocking huh?
We're just trying to be patient. If I reach 42 wks then I will have to have another C-section so your prayers are very much appreciated that he will come soon on his own.
Charles and I will update our statuses on Facebook with news and then put some pics up on here as soon as we can.
Welcome to our blog! Here we'll share all our fun stories and adventures with our crazy children.

Boat Ride
Our good friends the Garners invited us out on their boat since Friday was the first day that the cold spell lifted here in Savannah. It was so nice to be on the boat! I think I would like Savannah so much more if we had a boat. This really is a unique city with so many rivers and waterways. It was the first time that we had explored them. Hopefully we can go again sometime soon.

Since we've taken out baby Vince's car seat Azure has enjoyed playing in it. I can't believe she used to fit in this thing!

Pregnancy Update
I have about 7-11 days left! To make things fun please vote on our new poll to the right. To help you make an educated guess, Azure weighed 7lbs 3oz and I've gained a little more with this pregnancy.

I'm sure this next week will be incredibly long as we play the waiting game for baby Vince. We have mostly everything ready. The car seat is clean and ready to be installed, we just have to do it. His bassinet is all set up in our room. We bought a dresser for his clothes and they are all washed in Dreft ready to go. (I know Dreft isn't completely necessary, I just love the smell) We got our carpets cleaned and have been organizing the house and getting rid of unnecessary junk.
I am planning on having a VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) and using hypnobabies like I did with Azure. I am grateful I found a doula who I trust. I feel she'll be a great help to us through my birthing time. Though Azure's birth experience was pretty traumatic for me, the Lord has given me many opportunities to help empower other women have the births that they really wanted. Knowing that I have helped them, helps make my traumatic experience worth it. The Lord works in amazing ways!
Though I hope things will go more as planned this time around, I put my full trust in the Lord, knowing that He knows my needs better than I think I do.

Catch Up
We've been quite the slackers the past 2 weeks. Here's some updates.
Mixing together seeds for the Chia Pet, Azure's Christmas present from Daddy.

Celebrating Charlie's 28th Birthday. Yet another celebration of the Festival of Lanterns has begun. I topped the cake I made for him last year. This is one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had.
Experimenting with paints, yet another Christmas present.

Playing around with our NEW camera. I'm excited about taking landscape shots come springtime with this baby!
